Make a Lasting Impact—Early and Often.

This is more than just a therapy position—it’s an opportunity to be a driving force behind a proactive, student-first approach to speech-language development. You'll join a tight-knit district that empowers its SLPs with the flexibility, support, and creativity to shape how services are delivered.

Why You’ll Love This Role:

  • Balanced, Manageable Caseload: 30 students with service minutes, all pull-out model—no large-group overload.

  • Early Intervention Focus: Be part of an initiative to proactively serve Pre-K and K students to reduce long-term caseloads and support earlier success.

  • Flexible & Supportive Work Culture: No micromanagement. As long as you get your job done, you’ll have the freedom to innovate.

  • Collaborative Environment: District staff, leadership, and peers are all on the same team—students come first, and so do you.

  • Minimal Non-Therapy Duties: Focus your time on students, not busywork.

What Your First Week Looks Like:

Start Date: New employees begin onboarding five days prior to school start (school begins 8/20/25).
Your onboarding includes:

  • Orientation to school systems and platforms, including Embrace (IEP software)

  • Overview of caseload, current IEPs, and student needs

  • Walkthrough of school procedures, policies, and who to go to for what

  • Opportunities to connect with district leadership and staff

  • Time to prepare your workspace and establish your therapy plans

What a Typical Week Looks Like:

  • 3 Days/Week at the K–4 School (your own office space)

  • 2 Days/Week at the 5–8 School (shared office space) – time here expected to decrease as therapy needs lessen in older grades

  • All services are pull-out

  • Dedicated time for IEP writing, meetings with parents, and collaboration

  • Proactive classroom push-ins for Pre-K and K to build skills early and reduce future needs

  • Use of technology and creative strategies to deliver high-impact therapy

School Culture: Welcoming, Flexible, and Creative

  • Welcoming: Staff greet students at the door daily—everyone is known and valued

  • Flexible: Structure your work in a way that works for your students and your flow

  • Creative: Experiment with new therapy tools, tech, and strategies—leadership encourages innovation

Additional Details:

  • Parking: Ample, convenient staff parking

  • Dress Code: Standard professional attire appropriate for a school setting

  • Support: Minimal non-instructional duties—your time is valued and protected
