School Social Worker – High School (2025–2026 School Year)
Location: Matteson, IL
Start Date: August 13, 2025
Hours: 7:45 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $48 – $55 per hour (based on experience)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated School Social Worker to support high school students for the 2025–2026 school year. This full-time role involves working with a caseload of approximately 25–30 students who are either in the general education setting or have IEPs classified as mild to moderate in severity.

You’ll join a supportive leadership team in a school that values collaboration and student-focused services. The social worker will play a key role in helping students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling

• Support students with IEPs and general education needs

• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families

• Conduct social developmental studies and participate in IEP meetings

• Assist with crisis intervention and behavior support

• Connect families with school and community-based resources

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW)

• Illinois PEL with School Social Work Endorsement

• Experience working with high school students preferred
