Why This Position?

Join a small, collaborative school district that provides strong support and prioritizes meaningful student services. With a small caseload and flexible schedule, this position allows you to focus on high-impact work with students around emotion regulation, coping strategies, and goal-oriented IEP support. You’ll average just 35 minutes of direct services per day, giving you space to truly partner with staff, assist in crisis management, and make a difference where it matters most. The district is open to both full-time and part-time availability, making this an ideal fit for professionals looking for balance and flexibility.

Skills Needed on Day One

  • Strong experience supporting students with emotional regulation and coping strategies

  • Ability to implement and support IEP goals for social-emotional development

  • Comfort collaborating across staff teams for student planning and support

  • Orientation to the Embrace IEP system

  • Overview of current IEP goals and service expectations

What to Expect Day-to-Day

  • Push into classrooms for observations and collaborative support

  • Provide crisis management and serve as a consultative resource for teachers/staff

  • Coordinate with other service providers and contribute to IEP meetings as needed

School Culture

The district values diversity, inclusion, and personalized support. With a 54% diverse student population and an A rating in diversity, it is committed to meeting every student where they are. A low student-to-teacher ratio (16:1) allows for more individualized instruction and close collaboration among staff. This is a tight-knit community where educators and support staff work closely together to meet student needs.
